Executive Assistant – Operational Support

TheTechTeam are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and the operational heads in their administrative duties.

The candidate should be enthusiastic, professional, proactive and have strong communication skills, ideally with prior experience or a strong academic background. You will be entering a fast paced organisation who provide multiple services and this role is central to the smooth running of the company.

Your role will be to support identified staff by overseeing the successful running and growth of the business, as nothing will happen in the business without you knowing about it.  You will handle problems before they become bigger issues, helping the team to focus on what they do best – banishing the tech woes of our wonderful customers.  You will manage the staff members calendars, respond to emails/calls on their behalf and delegate incoming activities to other staff.

The Role :

  • To provide general administrative and operational support to the Managing Director and operational heads.
  • Take a lead in ensuring that all areas of the business are running smoothly.
  • Produce written reports for clients detailing support offered during the month.
  • Making and receiving telephone calls, and dealing with appropriate email/telephone enquiries.
  • Attend, draft agenda and minute departmental and external client meetings where requested.
  • Meet and greet clients and customers.
  • File creation and accurate record keeping.
  • Manage the diaries of identified staff members.
  • Provide support in various departments of the business, deputising in the absence of the Department Head.
  • Administer payroll and HR functions of the company.

The Person

  • Strong IT skills (i.e. proficient in using word processing, google docs, sheets etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and confident to work with colleagues of every level of seniority.
  • Experience in working with senior managers.
  • Experience of undertaking administrative duties (i.e. minute taking, producing agendas, reporting, call answering, etc.)
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good attention to detail.

Role can be full time or part time depending on candidate.
Full time equivalent salary:  £18,000 – £23,0000

You no longer have to worry about the often awkward issue of asking customers for payments at the end of a job. You just enter the job details on the portal and we will invoice the customer directly and pay you our agreed fees for any work completed.

Fast Payments.

You’ll be paid for all your work within 7 days and we’ll take care of making sure payment is received from the customer.

Use our marketing to get more work from your customers

We can also add your clients to our regular newsletter and communications channels to ensure that both new and old clients are regularly contacted, gaining you additional work.

We will continue to grow and expand, allowing you to offer a range of products and services to your customers that maybe previously had been outside of your scope – such as our group training classes or information guides.  You’ll get paid for every customer of yours that takes advantage of the additional services, increasing your earnings.
